STOP TEXT SCAM FOR DUMMIES

somebody video clip called me yesterday eight/six/24 from my son's gmail , I assumed it had been him then I answered, no one was there to answer, I hung up, then texted my son he said it was not him, will that be a means for scammers to enter into my cellphone and obtain my info???? what must I do?I get spam each and every day, but delete it as rap
